This is an arrangement demo of Simon Åkesson's arrangement of the Israeli national anthem "Hatikvah", as performed by the international a cappella group Accent.
A beautiful and lush brief a cappella setting of the Israeli National Anthem composed in the late 1800s and, of course, sung in Hebrew. Choral melismatic figures are carefully notated. A brilliant jazz reharmonization is the key feature of the arrangement, and it's a key component of Accent's signature sound. Notated for mixed vocal jazz ensemble.
Lowest bass note that would be difficult to reassign up an octave is a brief D-flat, and a couple low Cs are singable up an octave to good effect if necessary.
