Over the years, the Folsom High School Jazz Choir, winner of over 18 Down Beat Magazine Student Music Awards for top high school vocal jazz group in the USA or Canada, has commissioned some of my favorite arrangements in the catalog. Director Curtis Gaesser has a great ear for tunes that would make interesting, unusual and effective charts for vocal jazz groups.
