Technically, yes, and I have had lots of directors in this situation stick with the honor system and go ahead and let me know that I should invoice their new school for the old charts that they wanted to use.  I really appreciate the honesty, and I hope everybody knows that it just helps lead to my ability to write more charts and help keep vocal jazz alive a bit longer each time!
