« The 83rd Greatest Song of All Time | Main | And we're off...The May New Charts releases begin! »

The title is a reference to a Paris Rutherford-esque tune count-off from the fond memories I have from my UNT Jazz Singers days.  But it's also relevant to today's added chart, "Murder By Numbers", a tune by The Police that is less about actual murder than it is about corruption in politics.  It was part of a set of music that helped carry Folsom High School's "A" Jazz Choir (directed by Curtis Gaesser) to a Down Beat SMA win in 2012 as well as wins at the Fullerton, Reno and Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festivals.  This was their closer, and they always brought the audience to its collective feet!
